Ossianis is my creative name.

How did the name Ossianis come about?

It arises from the sense that I belong to a vast ocean of life, from which rays of unique expression emerge to present something on this Earth.

Where do you develop your art?

At the moment, I am in Portugal. Previously, I lived in France and Germany. Most of the time, I create in a van atelier by the sea or in the midst of nature.

What does your art consist of?

It is difficult to define the genesis of an art, but the dreamlike state is a good starting point. There is an impulse that descends to me and awakens my mind. Fragments hover in an orbit with creative potential... and according to my intuitive vision at the moment, I begin to play with lines and colors. The mind, the heart, and emotion guide the process, and something starts to emerge.
One thing is certain: I enter a state that allows me to capture possible intangible realities that I try to decipher and shape to be appreciated by human senses.
Soon, I plan to create more technical and symbolic art. I will choose embroidery for a series of artworks.

Can you give some examples of environments that inspire you?

I am inspired by a variety of environments and natural elements that evoke a sense of mystery, transcendence, and connection with greater forces.

To what extent can music influence your art?

It depends on my vibratory state at the moment. However, there are musical tones that immediately transport me... far beyond. I feel that I have the capacity for synesthesia, which is the intersection of the senses, making me "see" colors, shapes, and images when I hear sounds and music.
